The information stored in the computer is for new people and old pros alike.  The buttons at the bottom give an introduction to major Star Trek fields.  Most, if not all, of the information on this site can be considered canon.  The info has been seen in any of these areas:  Star Trek movies (I-X), Star Trek series (TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT), and authorized Star Trek books (Chronology 1st & 2nd ed., Encyclopedia 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ed., TNG Technical Manual, Star Trek Star Charts, etc.)
